Lucy Mellor-Brook took on challenge in memory of dad

The rolling hills of The Chilterns might seem like a perfect spot for a gentle walk – but not for one of our supporters.

Lucy Mellor-Brook took on the Chiltern 50 Ultra Challenge – a challenging course which sees competitors walk, run or jog through the spectacular landscape nestled between Oxford and London.

She raised £825, and her employers very generously matched this, taking the total to £1,650.

Lucy says St Michael’s provided great care to her dad in the last stages of his Motor Neurone Disease, and also gave loving support to her mum and sister.
