Are you a local photographer?

We’re on the lookout for captivating photographs showcasing the beauty of Herefordshire throughout the seasons. Your entry may find its place in the upcoming calendar, but, even more significantly, it could play a vital role in raising essential funds for the Hospice.

The St Michael’s Hospice Calendar

Our dedicated supporters and local residents eagerly anticipate the annual calendar release. These calendars not only serve as a reminder of the breathtaking region we call home but also highlight the incredible talents of our generous local photographers.

Each photographer graciously donates their photos, empowering us to maximize the funds raised through calendar sales. Since 2018, the collaborative efforts of our featured photographers have helped raise over £21,000, selling an impressive 4,443 calendars. The 2023 calendar, in particular, emerged as a best-seller, raising an outstanding £3,590 alone.

A seemingly small act, such as contributing a photo, can have a significant impact on the patients we care for at St Michael’s. Could your photo be the next featured masterpiece?

How to submit your work

Submitting your photo is a breeze—just send your stunning Herefordshire snapshots to by Wednesday, May 1st, 2024.

Ensure your photos are in landscape format, possess copyright, and boast high resolution (at least 3MB). When submitting, please include your name, the photographed location’s name, and specify the month/season you believe it best represents.

By sharing your photo with us, you’re generously donating your images for inclusion in our calendar and any subsequent promotional materials. Your contribution helps make a positive impact on the lives of those under our care at St Michael’s.
