Abi’s growing support for St Michael’s
Our love for nine-year-old Hospice supporter Abi continues to grow.
Throughout lockdown she has devoted time to producing vegetables which she plans to donate to our kitchen – and even held a raffle raising a whopping £700 for St Michael’s.
‘The allotment plot is one of her great passions. She loves tending to it,’ said mum Tanya.
‘She’s one in a million and is always putting others before herself.’
The plot was kindly given to Abi by Linton Parish Council and has helped feed a passion for growing which first began at Ledbury Primary School.
‘Abi always donated a box of vegetables to St Michael’s through the school and one day told me she would like to continue doing so,’ added Tanya.
‘It makes her happy. She knows what the Hospice is there for and she just wants to help.’
And when not on the plot, Abi has found other ways to help St Michael’s. As well as the raffle she has been making dog bandanas to sell for us too.
From everyone at St Michael’s Hospice, Thank You Abi for your continued support. We’re very proud of you.
