Sisters' touching fundraiser in memory of their dad
Three young sisters will mark their first Father’s Day without their dad by raising funds for the charity which cared for him.
Tim Rogers died at St Michael’s in January aged just 41 following an aggressive recurrence of brain cancer that had spread to his spinal cord.
To create something positive ahead of Father’s Day, Poppy-Valentine (14), and twin sisters Honey and Indigo (13) have decided to make some lovely gifts using their dad’s favourite mugs.
“They wanted to help those that are lucky enough to still have their wonderful dads, whilst also raising some money for St Michael’s,” said mum Amy.
“The wonderful, dignified care that Tim received from St Michael’s – and the support we received – will never be forgotten, and they just wanted to honour that, along with their amazing dad.”
The girls would like people to bid on the mug they would like, with the highest bidder becoming the proud owner.
