Homme House owner and St Michael's volunteer was awarded MBE

Homme House owner and St Michael’s volunteer was awarded MBE

Huge congratulations to Jocelyn Finnigan, one of our wonderful volunteers, who has been honoured for her dedication to charity.

Jocelyn, who owns Homme House in Much Marcle, was awarded the MBE by the Princess Royal at Windsor Castle.

Jocelyn’s husband, John, died under the care of St Michael’s Hospice, and in 2024 she dedicated a complete year of fundraising for St Michael’s in his memory, which included the fabulous Hommedinger Ball. She regularly volunteers with our People team.

The MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) was awarded for ‘Services to Heritage and to Charity in Herefordshire’.

Congratulations, Jocelyn!
