St Michael's Hospice searches for new Trustees
Successful recruits will help make “real and lasting contribution” to their community
St Michael’s Hospice says it is looking for those with significant senior health and care experience to join the charity’s Board.
The Bartestree-based Hospice, which is into its fifth decade of providing free-of-charge palliative and end-of-life care to residents of Herefordshire and its borders, says successful recruits will help make a “real and lasting contribution” to their community.
The charity is accepting applications for both Trustee and Associate Trustee roles; the latter being a position which provides expert advice to the Board without holding voting rights. Trustee and Associate Trustee positions are voluntary.
“We are looking for a new Trustee or Associate Trustee to augment our team,” said Chair of Trustees, David Teague.
“They must share our passion for serving the community, and help us ensure we can deliver our services today, tomorrow and always.”
St Michael’s says successful applicants should have recent and varied care or healthcare experience in a senior nursing, medical, allied health professional or social care role.
