Roger Oates Design chooses us as their Charity of the Year
A bespoke company near Ledbury whose products add beauty and style to homes around the world has announced it will be supporting St Michael’s in the coming year.
Roger Oates Design, which has a studio in Chelsea as well as a Ledbury showroom and Eastnor head office, produces beautiful runners and rugs to a customer network spanning the UK and as far afield as the United States and Australia.
When considering their Charity of the Year, colleagues were asked to choose a cause close to them, and one which has a meaningful impact. Luckily for us, they chose St Michael’s!
“It was the overwhelming choice,” said Andrew Durham-Terrett, HR & Office Manager at Roger Oates Design. “I wanted to know what charities are close to people’s hearts, and so many have first-hand experience of the care and support St Michael’s has provided to those close to them. It’s such a great charity.”
The company’s support has already begun with money coming in from the sale of design props which they no longer use.
They have also donated a stunning floor runner worth almost £500, which will feature in a fundraising draw open to those attending our Plant Fair at St Michael’s between 15-17th May.
“We recently toured St Michael’s, and it just brought home to us what a special place it is,” added Andrew.
“It’s not difficult to see why so St Michael’s means so much to so many people and we’re delighted to be supporting the Hospice for the next year.”
