Memorial Woodland as the site for previously unseen part of St Michael's

A never-before-seen part of St Michael’s will be opened later this year

A never-before-seen part of St Michael’s will be opened later this year.

Through the Winter, the volunteer Gardening Team has continued working, regardless of the weather.

Last year, the team started planning an area of woodland – beside the top of the main car park in Bartestree – for the creation of a ‘Memorial Woodland’.

This woodland is an area to be accessed separately, without having to visit the main building of the Hospice.

It will be an area for reflection, peace and remembering in a natural environmental area.

The plan is to have the Memorial Woodland completed by this Summer.
