Open Gardens 2026

The Vine

Kindly sponsored by Radbournes

Wednesday 15th July | 11am – 4pm

Explore a garden where beautifully defined spaces, vibrant borders, and sweeping countryside views combine to create a calm and captivating setting.

Immerse yourself in this peaceful, traditional garden

Take a gentle walk through this mature garden, set in a tranquil countryside location with stunning views across the surrounding landscape. The garden is divided into a series of distinct rooms, each offering its own character, with mixed and herbaceous borders providing colour and seasonal interest throughout.

Explore a secluded secret garden planted in soft blue, yellow, and white tones, before reaching the croquet lawn with its charming C18 summer house. A temple garden with ponds offers a moment of calm, followed by herb and nosegay planting and a productive vegetable, cutting, and soft fruit garden arranged around the greenhouse on the paddock.

The experience is completed by the striking cornus avenues with an obelisk and a willow bower, bringing together traditional planting, thoughtful design, and a peaceful rural setting.

Discover the Charm

Explore the diverse spaces, enjoy the playful and natural features, and soak up the garden’s relaxed, inspiring atmosphere. Treat yourself to delicious homemade cakes and a cup of tea, available for purchase from St Michael’s Hospice. With free parking available at Lady Emily Community Hall just a 2 minute walk from the garden and dogs on leads welcome, it’s the perfect outdoor escape for the whole family.
