Jamie's artwork proves a hit with Brit regulars
Painstaking artwork helps St Michael’s
We were delighted to visit The Britannia in Hereford to view an incredible piece of art produced by one of the pub’s regulars, Jamie Francis.
Jamie has spent about 260 painstaking hours capturing this A1-sized picture featuring caricatures of familiar faces at the Cotterell Street venue.
Prints of the artwork have been snapped up by Britannia regulars, with proceeds totalling £380 being donated to St Michael’s.
“It was just a bit of fun really,” said Jamie. “I decided to donate the money to St Michael’s because many of us here have known people who have been cared for by the Hospice. St Michael’s is such a peaceful place which does wonderful work for the community and I’m just glad to help them in this way.”
Thank you so much for your generosity, Jamie, and everyone at The Britannia!
