Surprise! Carol's special beach-themed birthday party
When staff here heard that Carol had never been to the beach, they stepped in to give her a memorable birthday
Carol, who attends one of our Day Services groups, has sadly never visited a beach.
So, to celebrate her birthday this weekend, we decided to bring the beach to her!
Our Day Services room was turned into the perfect coastal retreat, with sand, bucket & spade, and plenty of inflatables.
“It was such a lovely surprise,” said Carol.
“The staff and volunteers here are just wonderful, and I can’t thank them enough.”
