From 8-11 August, every donation to our Hospice at Home Appeal will be matched to help fund the fleet that delivers comfort, dignity, and support to patients at home.

Across our county, people nearing the end of life want the same thing, to stay at home, in familiar surroundings, with loved ones by their side.
Our Hospice at Home team makes that possible. Day and night, they travel up to 150 miles a day, reaching over 220 patients each month to provide expert nursing, urgent care, and compassionate support around the clock.
But we can’t do it without vehicles. And right now, we need your help to fund the £43,250 cost of running our fleet — fuel, leases, insurance, everything that keeps care on the move.
🔍 Where your money goes and how it doubles
Your donation helps cover the real, practical costs of keeping our Hospice team on the road:

£33.50 (doubled to £66.95) fuels a car for 3 days

£75 (doubled to £150) covers a month’s insurance

£154 (doubled to £308.33) leases a vehicle for a whole month
🧾 Our total appeal goal: £43,250
🎯 With match-funding, we need just £21,625 from supporters like you to unlock the full amount.
If we reach our target of £43,250 – we’d love to keep the donations coming in!
An extra £3,500 would help us to fund the running costs of our new Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle, allowing us to take our less mobile patients on special trips or visits back home.

We have chosen JustGiving as our donation platform for this appeal as it is free to use and is a trusted site. When making a donation Just Giving will ask if you wish to make a ‘Tip’ towards the running costs of Just Giving. This is purely optional and the Tip can be adjusted after your donation amount is selected.
