4 in 24 Challenge

Hospice supporters Anthony, Pete, Jim and Brian (the beaver) set themselves the mammoth challenge of ascending AND descending Snowdon, Cader Idris, Pen-y-Fan & Waun Fach within 24 hours using the more arduous, longer and less populated routes, to raise money for St Michael’s Hospice.

The challenge involved a climb of 2860 meters (9383 feet) and hiking approximately 25 miles with less than 4 hours rest whilst travelling between locations. 4 mountains in 24 hours and they did it with 45 minutes to spare!

After some rest the team then came safely back to the Hospice to present us with their cheque for £1,530. Thank you guys, we think you’re amazing.
