Senior Hub Nurse

Hours 7am to 3pm Monday to Sunday on a rota.

Based in the beautiful village of Bartestree, approximately 5 miles east of Hereford city, St Michael’s Hospice has been providing the highest quality care, free of charge, to the local community for over 35 years.

You will be acting as lead professional in provision of telephone advice and support for professionals, patients and families. You will be co-ordinating the functions of the Hub on a daily (shift) basis providing clinical oversight in the management of new referrals and patients allocated to Hospice at Home. 

To be successful you will need to be organised, able to motivate and empower others, demonstrate active listening, communicate clearly with both individuals and groups, successfully adapt to changing demands, and remain calm under pressure.

This post is conditional to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check. You will be required to work shifts including rotation/unsocial hours, including weekends and Bank holidays.
