We are launching our BRAND NEW ONLINE Shop and we are looking for new volunteers to help make it a success.

Retail is ever changing and as we grow our on line proposition to meet increasing customer demand, we are looking for volunteers to support our new online retail presence.

Our Online Trading Volunteers assist the Online Trading Manager with the daily running of our online retail presence to maximise income and profit. Our retail income supports the first class care we provide to our patients, both at home & at the Hospice site in Bartestree. Whether you have experience or want to learn, here are some of the tasks you would help with: 

• Delivering high standard of customer service. 

• Assisting Online Trading Manager with processing stock, including:

• Packaging sold stock securely for postage

• Researching items to ensure they have the correct online description and they are priced appropriately to ensure the items are as saleable as possible while achieving the very best price for St Michael’s.

• Photographing the items so they achieve the highest possible visual impact.

• Answering queries in a courteous and professional manner

We currently have volunteer vacancies for the following shifts:

Monday to Friday 9am – 1pm & 1 – 4pm
