If you’ve previously visited our coffee shop within our Whitecross Road Hereford shop, we wanted to let you know that it will be closing.
Thank you to everyone who visited and supported our coffee shop over the past few years, it means the world. We will sadly be closing the coffee shop on Friday 10th March at 2pm. 
 
The space is about to be transformed into an exciting extension of our main shop packed to the rafters with pre-loved treasures to discover. Head back to our website over the coming weeks to find out more.

It is with sadness we have taken the difficult decision to close the coffee shop. We thank all customers who have supported the coffee shop over the years and of course a special thank you goes to the staff and volunteers for their commitment. 

Unfortunately, since it opened in 2019 the coffee shop has been struggling to cover its costs and is operating at a loss. After having to close during the pandemic, we hoped the coffee shop would recover but we have not been able to attract enough customers to make opening viable. We appreciate the coffee shop is also there to serve the community but the financial pressures have now become too significant to continue.

The last day of opening will be Friday 10th March. On our final day, opening hours will be 9am- 2pm and a reduced menu may apply.  

Staff will be offered alternative positions to consider, either in our retail sites or at the hospice itself.

Volunteers will be offered alternative volunteering opportunities to consider at the Whitecross Road shop or other sites.  

No. We hope to use it at alternative hospice sites. 

We plan to use the space for additional retail space for the Whitecross Home and Living Store, this floor area will become a bright and open display area for more of our amazing preloved items. Other areas will be reorganised to provide the best customer experience. 

Our aim is for the extra retail space to be open by Saturday 1st April 2023.

Yes this is remaining open, and is an integral part of our offering in Leominster, alongside the Home and Living store and book shop.
