Please note: entries for this event are now closed.

RUN Hereford is one of St Michael’s flagship events, and despite all our efforts and the fantastic support from our community, it’s not possible for us to go ahead with our scheduled mass run on Sunday 18th October 2020.

We want to thank everyone who has signed up to take part in RUN and we hope you understand how difficult it has been for us to take the decision to cancel the 5K, 10K and Half Marathon runs that were due to take place.

However, you can still RUN Hereford your way; anytime, any place you like between 12am Monday 12th October and 7pm Sunday 18th October.

Simply sign up and we will send you a bespoke 2020 St Michael’s Hospice RUN Hereford running top.

To help create the RUN Hereford magic, we will be parking our Hospice Support Vehicle in the City Centre. Here, a small team of staff and volunteers will be on hand to cheer you on and offer you the chance to pick up a drink and an energy gel.

We will also have our photographer situated in front of a tunnel of Hospice flags ready to capture your achievement and perhaps a new social media profile pic?

Please remember the Hospice Support Vehicle should only be used as a drinks station and must not be at the start or finish of your RUN.

Sign up to Strava, follow St Michael’s Hospice profile, join the RUN Hereford Strava Club and be part of the RUN Hereford community.

Tag St Michael’s Hospice into your 5K, 10K or Half marathon on Strava, by using the @St. Michael’s Hospice (or you can send us a screenshot or link to your strava/garmin and email it to and we will be able to track your progress alongside your fellow runners and make sure you receive your RUN Hereford medal.

Strava is free to register, and if you need any assistance, please get in touch. You can link your Strava account to your Fundraising Story on your JustGiving page; a great way of keeping your donors up to date with your progress.

Sign up before Thursday 8th October to ensure you get your exclusive 2020 RUN Hereford running top in the post.

We would like to ask all runners, if possible, to make a suggested donation of £20 or raise £20 in sponsorship to help support vital Hospice care.

Once registered, you’ll be invited to join our closed RUN Hereford Facebook page where you’ll meet other runners, get updates, share hints, tips and routes and keep in touch with the Events and Community Team at St Michael’s Hospice.

The Facebook and Strava pages are also where you’ll find links to the final leaderboard.
