Adele Cullum, member of the Marks & Spencer Charity Committee, said, ‘Earlier this year, we took part in the St Michael’s Hospice Bunny Trail. It was a wonderful project involving hundreds of children, and I think it inspired us to do more. There are also staff who have personal reasons for helping: St Michael’s Hospice has touched our hearts.’

The Charity Committee visited Bartestree for a special tour of the new Inpatient Unit. Adele continued, ‘I can’t believe how much has changed and how tranquil and relaxed the new building is. It’s such a bright space with views out to the countryside from almost everywhere, which helps make everything feel peaceful.’

The Committee already look set to meet their fundraising target of £10,000. So far they have raised £1,500; in August, a team of nine are planning a skydive; and later on in the year, three more are running the Cardiff 10K.

From everyone at the Hospice, it’s not just a thank you…

it’s a St Michael’s THANK YOU.
