Eleven-year-old George is gearing up for a 15-mile walk to St Michael’s as a thank you to us for caring for his Granny.
Rosemary Deem died at St Michael’s last October, and in her memory George wants to walk the 15 miles from her home in Norton Canon to us in Bartestree.
“This is all George’s idea,” said his mum, Louise.
“He just wants to say thank you to St Michael’s for looking after his Granny.”
Once he reaches St Michael’s, George plans to place a memory rock devoted to his Granny in our Stream of Memories.
