Rarely open to the public, Shobdon Court greets visitors with a centrepiece lawn featuring a spectacular Cedar of Lebanon, Oak and Oriental Planes, among many other delights. 

Below the lawn is the arboretum. Col Corbett began planning trees here to make a pleasant ring around the pools some 60 years ago. The arboretum today boasts a mature tree canopy and smaller acers below giving interest throughout the year, with bulbs and bluebells, azaleas and rhododendrons in the spring, through to the beautiful autumn colours, particularly from the acers.

Visiting St John the Evangelist Church is an opportunity to see a wonderful example of 18th Century Rococo Gothic architecture.
