Paint Summer sponsored by Clear Storage
Paint your summer with a rainbow and help your Hospice care
By popular demand, St Michael’s Hospice is bringing back the magic of The Paint Runner. This summer, bring the festival feeling to your garden and celebrate health, happiness, and creativity, while also giving something back to your local community.
Sign up, and we will send you a Paint Summer pack filled with everything you need to colour yourself and your loved-ones happy.
Run, walk or throw paint while listening to music in your garden, the choice is yours. You could run 5k around your neighbourhood and return to your garden after each 1k to cover yourself in a different colour of paint. Whatever you do, RUN IT YOUR WAY, and help us raise the vital funds needed to care for families living with a terminal illness.
After registering, your Paint Pack will be dispatched the following Tuesday.
Collectively we hope to fill social media with pictures of summer colour so don’t forget to take some happy snaps and send them through to us.
Sign up, get sponsored, and help your Hospice to continue providing care for families living with a terminal illness.

“As a Herefordshire business Clear Storage are proud to support St Michael’s Hospice especially during the crisis. Whilst the Paint Runner is not quite the event we planned this year we hope to see everyone spreading some colour around the community and look forward to 2021’s event.”

Help St Michael's continue to care for families like mine
My name is Karen and last year St Michael’s Hospice cared for my sister Cindy after she was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Everyone from volunteers to doctors greeted us with a smile. They all showed such compassion.
Cindy loved shopping, karaoke, her garden and the colour purple. She loved laughter and she loved life. And that’s what The St Michael’s Hospice Paint Summer is. Quite simply, it’s just fun and I hope everyone taking part will be covered in as much happiness as Cindy brought us.
So please raise as much as you can to allow St Michael’s to continue caring for people like Cindy. It’s an exceptional place. Cindy’s motto was ‘Simply the Best’. And I think that describes St Michael’s pretty well too.
Wishing you a happy Paint Summer
Karen

Camilla and her family continue the tradition
After getting coloured in happy for the past four years, The Paint Runner has become a bit of a tradition for Camilla Cadwallader. Determined not to let COVID 19 spoil her fun, Camilla and 14 members of her immediate family organised their festival of colour in Knighton on Saturday 20th June.
Armed with a rainbow selection of paint and protective sunglasses the party-goers covered themselves in paint in the safety of their own garden before heading out on a 7K run around the town.
Camilla said, ‘We had a lot of fun, and all the kids are over the moon having raised over £600 for St Michael’s. Our day was filled with Paint Runner Magic. Onlookers also got into the spirit of the event by cheering us on and filling our donation buckets along the way.’
‘It was a great excuse to get messy and encourage the kids to enjoy a bit of exercise. We had all been looking forward to the day for a long time, and it succeeded in bringing colour and fun to life in lockdown.’
Everyone at St Michael’s would like to thank Camilla and her family for supporting their Hospice, and we look forward to seeing you all at our next Paint Runner event.
