Built almost 100 years ago, Lions Den boasts wonderful views of the River Wye and surrounding countryside stretching out for many miles towards the north west of Herefordshire.

Hidden away just outside Bredwardine and only a short distance from Hay-on-Wye, visitors to the grounds of this glorious home are in for a treat.

A courtyard area with plenty of seating is the perfect place to relax before exploring the spacious grounds high above the Wye.

The well-manicured lawns lead away from the house and are punctuated by water features and walled flower beds, connected by gravel pathways.

Hidden gems include a summer house, which will be open throughout the two days for visitors to spend time in, and a stunning smoke bush tree which shimmers in the sunlight.

A walkway through a small paddock will allow visitors the chance to have a closer view of the River Wye as it makes its way towards Bredwardine and onto Hereford.

Teas and cakes will also be on sale, along with an array of plants.
