Then Benny Bear’s Teddy Trail is the perfect activity! Get those steps in, find all of our hidden bears around Hereford, and claim your FREE teddy bear ice-cream at the end from the Coffee Cart.

The trail is available on all days but if you do complete it on one of the following days then you’ll get to meet Benny

About the trail:

Help Benny find his family!

Our new mascot Benny has been having a lovely time out and about meeting children at their schools and nurseries.  His bear family have come to stay for the summer but they’re playing hide & seek around Hereford City Centre…can you help us find all 10 of them?

At ten locations around Hereford City Centre you will find a bear hiding in the window display. 
Once you have signed up you will get all the details on how to find them and your code to claim your free Teddy Bear ice cream at the end from the Coffee Cart!

And, if you complete your trail on certain dates, you’ll get a chance to meet Benny!

Please note: there will be official photographers and videographers at this event. If you do not wish to be photographed, please let a member of staff know.

If you find all 10 bears, head over to the Coffee Cart to claim your prize of a teddy bear ice cream.

How long will the trail take?

The trail will take 45 minutes – 1 hour at a leisurely pace.

How do we claim our prize?

Thanks to our friends at the Coffee Cart, every child participating will be able to claim a yummy teddy bear ice cream when they’ve found all ten bears!

Head to Coffee Cart Kiosk 3, Garrick Lane, Hereford and show them your QR code for each participating child to receive your prize.

Where and when can we meet Benny the Bear?

Benny will be appearing at The Coffee Cart, Old Market (Kiosk 3, Garrick Lane, Hereford):

Monday 28 August 1-2pm
Wednesday 30 August 10.30am-1pm
Friday 1 September 10.30am-1pm
Saturday 2 September 10.30am-1pm

He will be available for photos for the first 45 minutes of every hour.

How does the trail support the Hospice?

By taking part in our fun trail, you’re making a huge difference to our patients and families.

We give memory bears to every child who has a family member staying with us. These are given completely free of charge and the money raised from you taking part in the trail goes towards these. Patients get the opportunity to chose one-off knitted jumpers for their bears so that every one is individual before gifting them to their young family members. These serve as a cuddly and comforting last memory and our families tell us they mean the world to them.
