Our teddies continue to be given to the younger relatives and friends of patients to provide comfort and a tangible memory which will last years.

Each bear is dressed in beautiful outfits lovingly made by our volunteers.

These outfits have now been given a festive touch thanks to supporters like Jenny who have knitted Christmas jumpers for the little bears.

“I just love doing them, and knowing they’re helping people, often very young, makes it more special,” said Jenny who has a personal connection to St Michael’s through her brother-in-law who received respite care from the Hospice.

Thank you Jenny, and the many others, for helping bring comfort to countless young people across Herefordshire and beyond.
