Two brothers have completed a 300-mile cycle ride in memory of their auntie who was cared for at St Michael’s Hospice.

Matt Amies and his younger brother, Danny, 32, took to two wheels for their journey to Porth Beach in Newquay, Cornwall.

They were joined on the challenge by Matt’s father-in-law, Pete O’Brien.

The group was taking part in memory of the brothers’ auntie, Moe West, who loved Porth Beach. They set off from her home in Hereford.

They were hoping to raise £2,000 for St Michael’s but have already beaten that target.

‘Matt and I lost our Auntie Moe to cancer in April 2016,’ said Danny.

‘At the wake, I decided to do a challenge to raise money for St Michael’s Hospice as the care they gave to Moe was amazing.’
