We think Ava is a star!

The ten-year-old has raised almost £4,000 for us over the past few months in memory of her grandad, Mark Percy, who died at St Michael’s last September.

The little entrepreneur regularly sets up a pop-up shop outside her home in Llandrindod Wells, selling everything from teddies and books, to clothes and even shells!

A local school kindly let her stock their high street shop for a week, and in that time she collected an astonishing £3,500!

Ava has also organised a non-uniform day at school, and written a book explaining why people should support St Michael’s.

Her dad, Kevin, is also a huge supporter of ours – as they both explain in this video.

Isn’t it wonderful to hear someone so young speak so passionately about St Michael’s?!
