Thank you for selecting a Hornbeam tree, great choice!

The Hornbeam us a gnarled and mighty tree and it is as tough as they come, Its year-round leaf cover makes it a winter haven for wildlife. The leaves are smaller and more deeply furrowed than Beech leaves and have finely toothed edges. The foliage becomes golden yellow to orange in colour in the autumn and most leaves stay on throughout the winter. It has grey-green smooth bark and a fluted trunk and it is a wonderful, stately, rounded native tree.

Once ordered, you will be emailed in due course with details on how to collect your tree, planting kit and guide. You will be invited to collect it any time from 7th – 11th March from St Michael’s Hospice, Bartestree.
