Caring to make a difference

St Michael’s Hospice was setup in 1982 as an English Registered Charity (Number: 511179) and an English Company registered at Companies House (Number 01634942).

It’s purpose is to promote the relief of sickness in people over the age of 18 years who are Herefordshire residents or living in the immediate surrounding counties. It does this through the provision of high-quality hospice care both at its main hopsice facility just outside Hereford and by visiting people at home. All its services are provided free-of charge to users.

Quality of life

St Michael’s volunteers and staff are passionate about ensuring everyone who is coming to the end of their life, and especially those with a medical diagnosis, should be supported to have the best quality of life in the time they have remaining.

We believe people deserve caring, compassionate and dignified care and support that respects them as a person and the life-long experiences they bring with them.

With forty years of experience and expertise, our skilled teams of doctors, nurses, therapists and other allied health professionals are best equipped to deliver this care.

Our People
