… to develop and influence palliative care services

Members of the Hospice Management Team and other key individuals represent the Hospice locally, regionally, and nationally on working groups and directorates, with the aim of developing and improving specialist palliative care services. As an independent hospice, this gives us a voice on the wider stage. These groups are also a great place to exchange ideas, learn new techniques and support each other.

There are many groups that we have representation on, including:

• Directorate of Palliative Care (Herefordshire) - the strategic development of services in Herefordshire

• Three Counties Palliative and Supportive Care Network - the strategic development of services across the cancer network

• West Midlands Palliative Physicians Group

• Help the HospicesNational Council for Palliative Care

• Midlands Palliative Care Teachers Forum

• National Association of Palliative Care Educators
