Regular Giving
Regular giving is a very positive way of helping the Hospice because it means that we can predict the income we will get, which helps us with our planning and budgeting. It is also a very cost effective way of donating, because if you are a UK taxpayer, for every £1 you give; we can claim another 28p from the Inland Revenue at no extra cost to you. For instance a regular donation of £5 a month means we can claim an extra £16.80 per year.
How your regular gift helps:
A regular gift to St Michael's Hospice, no matter how small, is a wonderful way to show you care. Over a 12-month period this could have a major impact on the life of a local person with a terminal illness and their families, friends and carers.
For instance in 1 year: -
£3 a month - could help provide support to bereaved families
£5 a month - could help pay for Day Hospice care for one person
£12 a month - could help pay for inpatient care for one person
£25 a month - could help us to provide specialist training to nurses and other carers
"Perhaps I've not really managed to put this into words, but since coming to see you regularly, you have given us such support and confidence, life has improved so much..."
"...your gentle ways and explaining things to us, answering each question we asked and being honest was very, very much appreciated"
