Lymphodeama Clinic

Hazel Brooks, Day Hospice Sister, runs a Lymphodeama Clinic on a Monday between 8am and 5pm. Appointments for this clinic are made through professional referrals.

The aim of the clinic is to care for people who have Lymphodeama in the palliative phase of their disease as a consequence of lymphatic obstruction, malignant disease and/or radiotherapy. It can be a hugely debilitating condition, not only physically but also psychologically; but with the right support and treatment patients can care for their condition with ongoing support, education and hosiery from the Hospice.
