Sahara Challenge for the Hospice
Intrepid and experienced fundraisers David Blankley and Paul Harriman are taking to the Sahara Desert in a bid to raise vital funds for St Michael's Hospice.
David, Chairman and Paul, a Team Manager of Bartestree Football Club, last year successfully climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in aid of Cancer Research and this year they wanted to support a local charity whilst continuing their hankering for challenges.
The trek will take them through blistering heat and sand storms but they are determind to complete the challenge. David stated that they both strongly believe that "St Michael's makes a fantastic contribution to our community; we felt compelled to try and raise some money for such a worthy cause".
