CD Launched for Hospice Funds
Debut Album Benefits Hospice
Budding recording artist Shane Milward-Kennedy has released an album and made the decision to donate all proceeds to St Michael’s Hospice. Shane said: “recording the album has been a labour of love for me and all the songs on it are very special and meaningful to many people, including myself.”
Shane, whose day job is working for Services for Independent Living in Hereford as Marketing and IT co-ordinator, said “St Michael’s Hospice touches all of our lives at one time or another and the decision to donate the proceeds of the album was very easy to make.”
Katie Farmer, Events & Community Fundraising Manager at St Michael’s Hospice, said: “we are delighted with Shane’s decision to donate proceeds to St Michael’s and we are always amazed at the innovative and creative ways which people find to fundraise for us.”
Katie also noted that Shane’s album would be available to purchase in the St Michael’s Hospice shops in Hereford. The album, ‘Here in Every Way’, can also be bought or downloaded by visiting www.shanemilward-kennedy.com.
The official launch of the album took place on 15th May 2010 at Winforton, where he also celebrated his birthday.
