Voices and Strings Rejoice!

Musical sisters Tansy and Jasmine Bennett are returning to Holy Trinity, Hereford, joining forces with their cousin Irene Carter to present 'Voices and Strings Rejoice' on Saturday 4th September.
The programme will delight and surprise with, amongst other works, Sarasate's Carmen Fantasy, Purcell's Dido's Lament and Rachmaninoff's Vocalise.
Tansy (18) has just left Wells Cathedral School where she had a specialist music place and she has a full scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music where she will begin her studies in September.
Jasmine (21), also a former pupil at Wells, studied the 'cello and recorder and has just completed a degree at Christ College, Cambridge where she performed in a number of concerts.
Irene (18) has just left St Mary Redcliffe School in Bristol. Last year, Irene was a finalist in The Speaker on BBC2. She has been Head Girl of The Girls Choir at Bristol Cathedral, and will be going to Edinburgh University in September.
"As a family we are very grateful to the hospice movement," said grandmother, Rita Ford. "My son, Michael, and the family received wonderful care from Trinity Hospice in London and Irene's grandad at St Peter's Hospice in Bristol. It will be wonderful if we can raise money for my local hospice."
