Venus Challenge 2012

Celebrating 6 years of the popular Venus Challenge, ladies will once again walk the 10k through the city of Hereford in a loop beginning and ending at the Hereford Leisure Centre. For the first time, this year the challenge is open to girls over the age of 12 (please note under 16's must be accompanied by a responsible adult). It's night so be bright and raid the fancy dress box to make sure you're seen. Click here to get flavour of last year's walk courtesy of our friends at Sunshine Radio.

Registration desks will open at 9.30pm in the Leisure Centre main hall. Please arrive at least half an hour before the start of the walk (midnight). There'll be glowing goodies and accessories on sale so, if you are unable to sort out a costume before the night, do bring some cash along for merchanise and photos.

2011's walk has so far raised £45,000 in vital funds for St Michael's Hospice - if you have any outstanding sponsorship money please get it to us as soon as possible.

Fees for 2012's Venus Challenge are:
£17 per individual entry
£64 per team of four
£90 per team of six
£112 per team of eight
£130 per team of ten
Entry on the night will be charged at £20 per individual - please note, there are no team entries available on the night.

All numbers are non-transferable and entry fees collected before the night of the event are non-refundable.
