A HOT DAY IN AUGUST
Moors Meadow Gardens & Nursery is once again hosting its renowned ‘A hot day in August’ with live acoustic music, blacksmith demonstrations, refreshments and stalls in aid of St. Michael’s Hospice.
Known to some as “Ros-stock” (after owner Ros Bissell); the suggested donation for a whole day of entertainment is just £4 for adults and £1 for children aged 4 – 16. All proceeds will go to the Hospice.
Moors Meadow is an inspirational garden that has received national and international recognition; it is a most remarkable 7-acres brimming with plants and with many intriguing features and sculptures.
The Moors Meadow resident Artist Blacksmith will astound visitors with his craftsmanship and creativity and there will be many talented local musicians.
The Hospice Catering team will be serving refreshments throughout the day including lovely lunches, coffee and delicious homemade cakes. Browse the stalls, purchase beautiful greeting cards of Moors Meadow Gardens, name the new dragon. Everyone is giving their time and talent freely and the items have been generously donated.
