The Long Way Up”
3 men, 2 bikes, 1 van, and an amazing trip all in aid of St Michael’s Hospice!
Justyn Smith, Nick Walker and Ian Baker are travelling from Land’s End to John O’ Groats in June 2009. These keen Moto-crossers are going to use as much “green laning-trail riding” as they can. This means staying off as many main roads as possible, the miles will be mostly on trail lines and tracks, with Ian offering back up and support in the van. The ride is in memory of Justyn’s mum, Sue Smith, who sadly passed away in 2006 here at St Michael’s.
The intrepid explorers would like to extend their gratitude and thanks to Dinmore Caravans (01568 611481) for supplying them with a caravan free of charge for the trip, and Owen Bros Commercials (01432 870410) for supplying them with the support van, your generosity is much appreciated.
