The military and the Mountain rescue use search and rescue techniqies ot find lost or injured people all over the world, sometimes in extreme conditions or under fire.
Your aim is to put together your own search and rescue team of 8 people. Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to search out and rescue an injured walker from a predetermind area of the Black Mountains & Brecon Beacons National Park, administer first aid and stretcher the casualty off the mountain to a designated point of safety.
This challenge has been designed in such a way that people of all fitness levels will be able to take part. Teams will be met by their instructors at a designated start point within the Black Mountains where they will be briefed on the mission and given a safety talk. Clues will be provided as to where the casualty is located, a map and rescue kit will also be provided. There are rules to the rescue, all for your own safety.
This challenge costs just £120 per team of 8 people. If you think you may be the next A-Team, then why not challenge yourself!
