Volunteering

Being a volunteer shop assistant is a generous gift to the community. The only qualification you need to volunteer in one of our 15 shops is that you are 16 or over. You don't need any previous experience, as you will receive full training.

Duties would include sorting and pricing stock, serving on the till and helping customers.
Nicola Wood, Head of Retail and Trading, says "being a Hospice shop volunteer means not only are you working for a good cause, the work is also very sociable and can be a lot of fun. Everyone has got something to offer and we can adapt the skills people have. I'd urge anyone who has some spare time on their hands to get in touch!"

If you can spare a few hours a week to really make a difference please contact Nicola or Retail Area Managers Liz Went and Lawrence Eytle today on 01432 851000. Alternatively, you can download the application form below, complete it and send it to: St Michael's Hospice, Bartestree, Hereford, HR4 1HA.

Further opportunities are available in other areas of the Hospice. For more information on these, click on this link to go to the Volunteering page.
