Philanthropy

Making a significant personal donation or giving through your own Trust or Foundation makes real difference to your local community

Clive Richards OBE donated £1 million to St Michael’s Hospice Redevelopment Appeal

Making a significant personal donation or giving through your own Trust or Foundation can leave a lasting legacy at St Michael’s Hospice.

Hospice care is all about living and providing the best quality of life for people both in their homes and during their time at St Michael’s Hospice. Philanthropy makes a big difference to the care we can provide the local community.

St Michael’s Hospice has always inspired people who have the capacity to give larger amounts as an investment in their community. These people have made it possible for local families to receive the care they need at a time when they need it most.

People are now often living longer with a life-limiting illness, and St Michael’s Hospice is meeting the growing demand for care in our community.

To help St Michael’s meet this challenge, we are asking people to join with other philanthropic benefactors and ensure St Michael’s Hospice continues to be a place of light and love for generations to come.

People give large donations for many different reasons and we always want to listen to the stories that have inspired such enormous generosity. In return for your gift, we will do whatever we can to give you something back. By listening to you, we will do our utmost to find an appropriate way of showing recognition for the difference you make to all of us.
