Out-patients

Medical out-patient days are held every Monday and Wednesday. Patients are referred to this clinic by other specialist Palliative Care professionals such as the Community Macmillan Nurses, GP’s or hospital Consultants. During the day individuals can be referred specifically to the relevant professional (medical, social care, spiritual, complementary therapy, Lymphoedema and psychology) who can give treatment and advice.

Medical out-patients have an initial appointment usually with the consultant, which normally lasts about 75 minutes, with follow up appointments lasting about half an hour.
