Complementary Therapies

Complementary therapy is an important part of our care, helping people to relax eases worry and reduces the effect of pain. It is also an opportunity for patients and carers to talk about their situation, which can relieve emotional stress.

Hospice Complementary Therapists and a team of voluntary therapists offer massage, reflexology, indian head massage, acupuncture, reiki, Bowen Technique, music based relaxation, hypnotherapy and 'M' Technique. Volunteers from the British Red Cross offer manicures and massage over clothing.
