Audi evening helps raise £8,000
Britain's Got Talent winner and renowned artist help reach total
A renowned artist and a former Britain’s Got Talent winner have helped a Hereford car dealership raise £8,000 for their Hospice.
Earlier this year, magician Richard Jones – who won Britain’s Got Talent in 2016 – joined Herefordshire artist Paul Oz at a party to celebrate the re-opening of the Hereford Audi showroom on Legion Way.
During the evening, which was also attended by Robert Forrester, the CEO of the group’s parent company Vertu Motors, Paul Oz completed his painting of Audi’s legendary R1 rally car.
This was auctioned on the night and sold for £5,500, with Hereford Audi kindly topping up the total to £8,000.
All that money has been donated to St Michael’s, with the Hospice’s Community Fundraising Manager, Paddy Nugent (pictured in the group photo, standing, left), being presented with the funds by Hereford Audi staff.
