Complementary therapy is an important part of our care, helping people to relax, easing worry and tension which can alleviate some symptoms. It is also an opportunity for patients and carers to talk about their situation. Receiveing a complementary therapy can help you feel supported, cared for and pampered.
Hospice Complementary Therapists and a team of voluntary therapists offer massage, reflexology, the body tambura, indian head massage, acupuncture, reiki, Bowen Technique, music based relaxation, hypnotherapy and 'M' Technique. Volunteers from the British Red Cross offer manicures and massage over clothing.
