St Michael's currently has 400 yellow collecting tins in and around Herefordshire. On average one is emptied every day and contains £54, totalling almost £20,000 annually - enough money to pay for a nurse for a year. So next time you see one of our yellow tins don't walk by, dig deep, every penny counts!
If you would like to display one of our tins in your premises please contact Diane Lockert on 01432 851000.
Randy Langford (pictured right), is the Hospice's longest serving collecting tins volunteer, and has passed the phenomenal figure of more than £200,000 in donations from those bright yellow tins! Randy continues with campaign work, distributing Christmas Bells and Michaelmas Daisies annually, helping St Michael’s reach its fundraising targets utilising his knowledge and experience and the long-established relationships he has built up with local businesses. So if you see him, be sure to say hello!
